Position Description

This PART TIME / FLEX TIME (4 days a week / approx. 5 hours a day) position as an "HR PROFESSIONAL" that will be responsible for providing Human Resources support to the business owner. Specific responsibilities include assisting in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, employee relations, some benefits & timekeeping stuff and potentially other, non HR projects for the Manager/Owner. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required for this position.

To be clear - This position is more about HIRING and DEVELOPING the RIGHT TEAM (one that Gel's) than keeping hours. As an FYI - we have over 100 people during normal times but Covid 19 is upending things and some employees are not coming back - others we are not taking back.

We are looking for a LOCAL (Allentown / Bethlehem Professional) that can work IN HOUSE when needed to interview and potentially be on call when needed - (GREAT if you are retired or looking to slow down or just make extra $$$ - PUT WE ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN A REAL PROFESIONAL)

We have the ability to be flexible with the hours and even the workdays - Most importantly that you are flexible as well :-)


High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of human resources /recruiting experience preferred

Basic knowledge of human resources including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, etc.
Basic administrative skills and knowledge, including functional skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Must be a team player who fosters a positive attitude
Strong oral and written communication skills, including exceptional attention to detail and appropriate proof-reading skills
Ability to organize, handle multiple priorities, and complete assignments in a timely manner
